Dear Valued Patients,
We hope this message finds you and all of your family healthy!
These are very interesting times we are living in and we hope you are navigating these uncharted waters as best you can right now. We wanted to let you know how much we miss your amazing smiles and are happy to report the Governor is allowing us resume routine dental care beginning on Friday May 8.
Part of the provision for us beginning to work again is that we must have a good supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) for our team and have a reliable supply chain to replenish it. We are working to determine how we can meet these requirements and still be able to start to take care of our patients’ needs. Please be patient with us as we start working through re-scheduling appointments. We will not be able to see the same volume of patients per day as we did before all of this, as we need more time for disinfecting rooms and other infection control procedures. We also believe that for those of you at most risk, this might not be the time to have a routine appointment. We would suggest possibly waiting until later summer for routine care, but if you are having pain or concerns, we will have some times set aside where there will be fewer people in the office.
We also wanted to let you know about some changes that we have made in our office to provide for your safety and for the safety of our team. We will be utilizing a virtual waiting room. This means we will have you call or text us when you arrive for your appointment and we will have you wait in your car until we are ready for you. We will also ask that when you come into our office that you wear a mask and use the hand sanitizer provided in the entry way. We will be taking your temperature and asking a series of screening questions for every person entering the building (our entire team included!). We ask that only the patient, or if needed one parent/caregiver, accompany the patient to the appointment. Again, we are trying to minimize the number of people in the office to maintain social distancing the best we can. We will be wearing some new protective equipment as well, such as gowns, face shields and masks. We want you to know that safety is our top priority, for you and for our team. Please feel free to ask about our procedures if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you so much for your patience and your loyalty. We look forward to seeing you soon!
